 | Jack owns and has run ‘Eddie’s Shake Shop’ ever since he bought it from Eddie. Jack’s been all over. He was given up for adoption at birth. He first came to Apple Grove looking for his mother, but once in Apple Grove he discovered his long lost grandfather…Eddie. Jack is an honest and kind man. His step dad was really rich so Jack has a big piggy bank. He also has a lot of interesting stories of amazing places he has been, and he uses his experiences to help mentor his adopted son Slarkey. |

 | Adam is a sports-nut. He’s a pitcher like his Dad, and starting goalie for his school team. Adam is very focused and he is always respectful. Adam gets along with his sister Sam most of the time, but he can’t stand anyone being picked on and from time to time it gets him in trouble. |

 | Tommy loves comic books and reading and even solves small crimes as his alter-ego ‘The Masked Do-Gooder.’ When he’s not saving the world Tommy has a laid back personality and he doesn’t let things phase him too much. He’s extremely loyal to his friends, especially his best bud Travis. |

 | Shania was born with a gold-plated spoon in her mouth. She talks like the “Joneses” are her butlers. She rules the school, just ask her. She also loves to act and hopes that someday she’ll be a famous actress. If you’re looking for Shania…check the mall first! |

 | Spike is the brawn to Slarkey’s brains. He has a good heart and often wants to do the right thing, but he is easily swayed by peer pressure and it’s not too tough to pull the wool over this eyes. |

 | Madison may seem like a shy bookworm, but when she’s hot on the trail of a story her adventurous side comes out, especially when she’s reporting on ‘The Masked Do-Gooder’. She’s the editor and head reporter for the school paper and she always gets her story. Her best friend is boy crazy, but Madison helps Lana to keep her feet on the ground. |

 | Seamus' father Liam is serving time in prison. Seamus grew up working in a mob crime family and he never learned right from wrong. When Jack caught him, Seamus began working for Jack and the CIA, but Seamus double-crossed Jack and joined forces with Jack's arch-nemesis Frederick. |

 | Joe is a well liked citizen of Apple Grove and he’s a fair man. He used to be a trucker and that allowed him a lot of time to think. His daughter Alice worked at the shake shop before she became a missionary to Africa. Joe is a Christian and he usually does what’s right. |

 | Helen is one of the most evil, despicable villains the shake shop has ever seen. Every chance she gets she tries to shut down the shake shop for “The Boss’. The only thing is, nobody knows who she’s working for and with Jack’s CIA past it could be any one of his many enemies. Beware of Helen! |

 | Eddie is Jack's grandpa, he's a grump and he does not like kids. Something happened to his family a long time ago and ever since then Eddie has lived by himself in the apartment above the Shake Shop. Eddie has a deep past and he is very slow to open up to people, which might be good cause he’s so mean and he doesn't like kids. |

 | Sam loves music. Her room is decorated with music posters and album covers. She plays guitar and bass, has an iPod, and writes her own songs and lyrics. She even plays in a band. She usually gets along with her brother Adam, but she has a temper, so don’t get on her bad side. |

 | Travis is an awesome skateboarder, but sometimes he still has crashes. He’s not the guy to study for the Math test with though. Travis doesn’t do that well in school and some people think he’s not playing with a full deck of cards. He’s the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. |

 | Slarkey is the most villainous kid in all of Apple Grove, Minnesota. He used to work for Eddie until he got fired for stealing. Slarkey first stole in kindergarten, then took a swing at the teacher who caught him. If there’s a scam he’s probably behind it. Everyone he ever met thought he was a 'bad apple' until Jack adopted him. Now Slarkey is trying to turn his life around, but old habits die hard. |

 | Ben is a cool kid with lots of friends. He was even elected class President. He's smart and funny and pretty good at sports too! His best friend Julia and him have fun riding bikes, playing games, and hanging out at the shake shop. Sometimes Ben gets sad because people think he’s just a kid, so he can’t do stuff the bigger kids can do. |

 | Lana loves being a cheer-leader. Did I mention that Lana loves being a cheer-leader? Someday she wants to marry Ryder, or a Jonas brother, or any other cute boy that has her attention this week. She’s always sincere and nice to people, but sometimes she’s a step behind in the conversation…usually because she’s thinking about a dreamy boy. |

 | Julia learned to walk at 6 months, learned to read at 4, and plans to graduate high-school in a couple years even though she is only 8 years old. She enjoys reading, spelling, math, and science. She has been home-schooled her “whole life” and teaches Sunday School classes on occasion at her church. |

 | Jake plays on Adam’s hockey team and they have become friends over time. Although she went to church once with Adam and Sam, Jake is a devout atheist and loves to argue every chance she gets. |

 | Maria grew up in Minneapolis performing in area piano recitals. She attended Juliard in NY where she met Frank and fell in love. They later moved to Minneapolis where they had two kids, Sam & Adam. They are very active in their local church. |
